My first time purchase La Roche-Posay was last year because I have been using some of Vichy products and La Roche-Posay brand is just next to it and I have been searching for a cream milky base eye make up remover. I always do research on the feedback of the product and my very first purchase was La Roche-Posay Toleriane Demo Cleanser.
I used to use Lumene water base make up remover. The texture is real good! subtle, very light scent and really smooth on the skin when I swipe off my make up with it on a cotton wool. Unfortunately It does not sell in South East Asia. How I got it? My friend recommend and buy for me while she was in Europe.
It is very difficult to get the perfect texture when you are spoilt with what you are used too. This year I wanted to venture out more in La Roche Posay ranges. I tried their micellar water ultra and luckily it is good. The sales person told me that actually La Roche Posay toleriane demo cleanser is a full make up remover. If for removing make up on eyes only they have another range but it was sold out. Oh well good to know but I still use it as eye make up remover because it does not sting my eyes as it removes it so well, plus I love the milky texture.
I was hunting a new cleanser too and as usual I check on the reviews for this LA Roche Posay Toleriane softening foaming gel. The review were 4.3/5 which I would naturally think it would be quite good and it is under Toleriane too as I had try their milky cleanser too. I still had doubts because they did not provide a sample as I wanted to feel the texture and was curious does it has any scent? Argh… too my surprise when I come back and try it. The scent is like a hospital scent! The texture is good just like a normal foaming gel. It has a milky colour and just need to use a bit and it will cleanse your whole face. It is slight drying after using it so it will be a must to straight away apply your skincare routine from toner, serum, eye cream and moisturiser because if not your skin will feel a slight tightness due to dry feeling skin texture.
The sales person is very nice and generous. I purchased only two of toleriane demo cleanser, one of their foaming gel and the micellar water. She gave quite a lot of sample for me to try ;
- La Roche-Posay Pigmentclar serum
- La Roche-Posay Lipikar Baume AP+
- La Roche-Posay Toleriane Lotion Hydrante Dermo
La Roche-Posay Pigmentclar serum obviously is for the ladies who has pigmentation that wish to avoid from getting worse and removing it as all together. I have been only using this for the past few days. So far the texture is good and can be apply smoothly and silky.
La Roche-Posay Lipikar Baume AP+ This is a face and body lotion but I used it for night moisturiser which you can. I just put a bit on my palms like peanut size? because I know if I put more on my skin, my face will turn oily as I have combination to dry skin. I think if you have a really dry skin then it will be very well suited for you.
La Roche-Posay Toleriane Lotion Hydrante Dermo To be honest I have not try this because I am saving it to use while I will go for travelling. Why? because it is so hard to get a toner sample that can last for a week and that is why I am saving it.
I would like very much to hear your feedback like have you ever tried any of these range? Do share because I would want to try more of La Roche Posay because I do feel they have a good wide range.
